The full spectrum of medical and surgical therapies are available. We can provide in-office treatments, outpatient procedures such as Urolift, and operative intervention such as a bipolar vaporization of the prostate.
Kidney stones occasionally require surgical intervention. We can discuss the appropriate options for each patient. Common minimally-invasive procedures are ESWL, which uses sound waves delivered completely outside of the body to break up stones, URETEROSCOPY which allows a small scope to target the stones and destroy them with lasers without making an incision, and PCNL which destroys stones with ultrasonic energy delivered via a small puncture into the kidney.
